I was down in Los Angeles visiting my brother, Aaron, and his girlfriend, Chelsea, this last week. On Wednesday night, Aaron, Chelsea, and I decided to go to the top of their 15 story building and watch the sun set over the Santa Monica mountains and LA cityscape. I brought my guitar because I thought it would be awesome to sing my new song, “Say Everything” at the top of my lungs 15 stories above the busy streets of LA. Well, I sang it… and the experience was nothing short of amazing. It was like singing for everyone and for no one. Like singing this song just because I needed to sing it, but also singing it out to the whole world. The best part was the wind. It’s breath evoked my passionate heart to sing strong… And it brought me the warm, summer air my lungs needed to sing some soft words of hope to the hurting, hectic, hostile world below.

Chelsea brought her camera… and captured a great shot of this moment. I want to share her art and this experience with all of you. Let Chels and I know what you think of it.
